RFE Webinar: Decarbonising rolling stock

On 30 March, Rail Forum Europe (RFE) held a webinar for members on Decarbonising rolling stock: The potential of alternative propulsion systems in the rail sector. This time the webinar was supported by UNIFE and began with opening remarks from RFE President MEP Andrey Novakov. MEP Jakop Dalunde and Giuseppe Izzo Transport Attaché at the Italian Permanent Representation followed with a setting of the scene. Speakers included Andreas Schwilling, Senior Advisor at Roland Berger, Raphael Bernardelli ,VP Corporate Strategy at Alstom and Jochen Steinbauer, Platform Director for Hydrogen trains and technologies at Siemens. In attendance included RFE Members and Associate members, as well as other key EU stakeholders who all joined the discussion around decarbonising rail rolling stock and potential of alternative propulsion systems.
